You might think it's the versatility of printing messages on both sides of the mouse pad - using clever words to keep your customers reading. You may appreciate just how light our mouse mats can be, and how easy it is to insert one in a magazine, or in an envelope for your next direct mail campaign. It could be the freedom to pick your own shape for a die-cut that appeals to your creativity. They're all great reasons for using mouse mats to promote your clients' brands.
We all know that making a lasting impression on a client is not easy.
When you have a medium that lets you stretch your imagination, like a blank canvas mouse mat, it becomes simple. Designer Tip #1Shape gets attention:Custom shapes have a higher impact rate than standard shape mouse pads. You can think of a message and pick a shape to put it on. Or, think of a shape/ image and then write a message to fit it. Not everyone develops ideas in the same way. A bunch of keys. A mouse trap. Cups of coffee. Christmas Trees. The image often dictates the mouse mat shape. However you do it, make 'shape' a component of your next promotional campaign and your mouse pad will really get noticed. Designer Tip #2Watch the image area:The text on your mouse mat is of vital importance to your message, so don't take chances. Keep your text at least 5mm away from the cutting edges (and don't forget about the 5 mm allowance for bleed ). Designer Tip #3A word about Borders:As a general rule, we suggest you avoid borders in your artwork/design for your mouse pad. (It's possible that a shift of up to 2mm can occur during the print process.) Designer Tip #4Get a fresh opinion:When you're finished your design and happy that it's all looking great, then it's time to have someone check out your work. It's best if it's not someone from the creative or account management team. It's amazing how easily an outsider can spot a mistake you've been staring at for days, or see a flaw in the logic behind a concept. Check it out! 10. Easy-to-use fax-back form for collecting any data you need.
